Brain or Drain the Brain

The most complex structure of human body is human brian.Its very unique part of of human body as it has ability to think, imagine, control and speech. It controls body temperature, blood pressure, heart rate and breathing. It accepts a flood of information about the world around you from your various senses. It handles physical motion when walking, talking, standing or sitting. It lets you think, dream, reason and experience emotions.

The average human brain weighs about three pounds and comprises the hefty cerebrum, which is the largest portion and performs all higher cognitive functions; the cerebellum, responsible for motor functions, such as the coordination of movement and balance; and the brain stem, dedicated to involuntary functions like breathing. The majority of the energy consumed by the brain powers the rapid firing of millions of neurons communicating with each other.

All of these tasks are coordinated, controlled and regulated by an organ that is about the size of a small head of cauliflower! Your brain, spinal cord and peripheral nerves make up a complex, integrated information-processing and control system. The scientific study of the brain and nervous system is called neuroscience or neurobiology. I think I have given you enough information about the brain in the terms of science especially human anatomy………

Adding to that mystery is the contention that humans "only" employ 10 percent of their brain. If only regular folk could tap that other 90 percent, they too could become servants who remember π to the twenty-thousandth decimal place or perhaps even have telekinetic powers. Yet the are many humans who are calculators and are able to make calculation in air. Ufffffffffffff I have given you enough aren’t you tired of this ………All I am here to tell you that there is no scientific myth explaining that 10% of your brain is used so please use more of it.

The 10% myth mostly is misrepresentation of neurological research undertaken in the late 1800s or early 1900s when researchers either discovered that only about 10% of the neurons in the brain are firing at any given time, or announced that they had only mapped the functions of 10% of the brain at that time. There is not a direct relationship between the performance of the brain and its level of activation. So let’s leave the myth and think more to use your brain. If 90% of your brain would have been use d you would have left with the thinking power of sheep. (Dr.Chudler PhD Research Officer &Professor at university of Washington).According to him 100% brain is at the function based on how much blood is directed there. We are not sheeps we are human better capable .We can be distinguished if we use more of it. Let the “the men behind the machines not the machines behind the men” this can be done if we only DRAIN THE BRAIN………

Winning Attitude of a Positive Self Image.

What is success?

If this question were asked to a group of people, each one would reply differently. To some, success to some success is money; to some it is health or t some, success is nothing else than achieving goals and targets. Where as, for a large no of peoples, happiness is success. In short it is something that has varied meaning from person to person. And interestingly, success within a person does not stay same for long. It keeps changing by the passage of time. Success for a person ten years back can be no more success for him now. Now the question arises if change is guarantees success, then what is the change we are talking? It is the change in opinion we have in

ourselves. It is called “self image”. Someone said I am beautiful, “WHAT U SEE ARE WHAT YOU GET AND WHAT YOU FEEL IS REALLY WHAT YOU ARE. It are not what you are that holds you back, but it is what you are not!!!” Self image is the fundamental key to understanding human nature. Change the self image, and everything changes: the behavior, the personality and all the parameters. If this change is positive, it brings prosperity. If this change is negative, it reins the personality… If we start building up self image right from the childhood...It is most common to hear that:

 I have a terrible memory

 I am too slow

 I am not a good cook

 I am never on time

 I am a loser etc

These are all perceptions about one that come the sub-conscious mind and are controlled by the mental picture that each one of us carries. Our self-image determines the kind and scope of the person we are. Our achievements are governed by our self-image.to subconscious mind, our imagination is our worked. Every success has to be dreamed first. It becomes the reality later. This is because the subconscious mind plays a vital role in pushing a dream to become a reality as it cannot differentiate between reality and fantasy. To be successful, the first and the most important thing are to require “The Winning Attitude” which only comes from the positive self image. Positive self image is the base to become a winner. So if a person possesses a positive self-Image and a winning attitude, he/she can climb even the highest mountain single handily…..

Pakistan Youth Revolution is not just an organization in my point of view it’s a place which flourishes your love for your motherland. The essence of patriotism should be alive with in oneself.PYR will make sure this essence is there .Youth are the major portion of any nation. They are stronger, capable and innovative. Their innovation can bring positive changes in the current scenario of Pakistan. The more the youth are united the more stronger Pakistan will be. We need to imply ourselves towards this new horizon.

I must confess here love for your country is not just waving flags on 14th August or any Pakistan day it’s something that is natural which is with in yourself that is Patriotism. Love for ones nation is the strongest feeling. It’s for me a never ending inspiration which will lead to positive sacrifice for your nation.PYR is the awakening Patriotism among the youngster of Pakistan &reminding them their obligation towards their mother land. We are what we are in where we stand and till we see all is Pakistan. We represent Pakistan in every part of the world.

PYR is an individual step up which is at its utmost to raise funds for the betterment of Pakistan. It can be taken as the group of socialites which are working whole heartedly for sake of Pakistan and its integrity. We are the verge of problems and the basic problem out of them is education .A system collapses if its educational infrastructure is null and void.PYR is working on making schools through out the Pakistan. Its major objective is to eliminate academic dishonesty and inequality throughout the country as children must get equal opportunities of education on indiscriminate basis. Social groups and setups are created for educational awareness programs. One of its major reforms is motivating children towards education through positive moves.

Quaid-e-Azam is our nation Hero; Father of the Nation laid the rules of UNITY, FAITH DISCIPLINE which should be the color of every citizen of Pakistan and PRY makes sure this happens. All the Pakistanis should respecting it as it’s the steps towards the road of prosperity. The dream of ALLAMA IQBAL is converted in reality only the efforts of youths and yet can make a better place to live through their enthusiasm and energetic souls. That is why PYR is working on the Youth based programs.
Being the youth of Pakistan it’s our moral and ethical responsibility to protect the image of our country. Our identity is Pakistan. So we should respect and make sure others do it as well. OBSESSION OF PERFECTION

Perfection in life is very important. It can be only done when we learn our responsibilities and how we pursue toward them. Perfection may lead us to an ideal life if we take it in right pattern. Studies of various Anthropologists show us that civilizations of past that have excelled had some perfection in their natures which lead them to grow. So perfection does involve meaning in our lives but we should not take it as matter of life and death. Obsession of perfection is wrong

I have seen people arranged their lives in a perfect cycle and if anything alters in their life or that cycle they frustrated. We should therefore open our selves to changes because our life goes through them all the time. This is what I believe…… It’s actually good if we stick ourselves to rules but going all the time for 99% right and thinking about 1% makes wrong will lead us to problems. Firstly you’ll not be able to concentrate on what you are doing as that 1% is always running at the back of your mind. We are always taught by our parents and teachers that we should be perfect in very thing. They say this because they anticipate good results from us and their duty as they are responsible for our futures. I am not asking you to stop yourself from being ambitious but be normal and trust yourself. People have become IMPERFECT in order to become PERFECT.

Another problem with people taking perfection too much seriously that they think very high of themselves. One thing should be kept in mind as by the law of nature we are created equal by Almighty ALLAH. The people around us are just like us normal human beings. Mistakes are made and each time we make one we learn from it .Its is yet another step toward progress. We should take things positively and should not make blunders out of small mistakes in order to attain perfection. Man since its creation is striving itself for the perfection. REFRAIN FROM WASTING FOOD

Food is the basic necessity of life. It is prerequisite and essential for all living things .With the blessing of ALLAH PAK it is present in huge quantities including all the types of food ranging from meat,poultry, fish, vegetables and fruits. The basic function of food is enabling our body to function normally. The Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.S.) recommended even for pious man the quantity of food "whichis just sufficient to keep his back-bone erect". With the saying of Holy Prophet Muhammad (S.A.W.S.) we come to know the concept of Balanced Diet which is very important. Only balanced diets consists all sort of the nutrients. As human being it’s our duty not to waste food. As our new generations will depend on it. In year 2020 the worlds’ population is likely to reach about 7.6 billion. Ifcritically we analyze it that means the amount of food we are using will not be sufficient by than. Due to this increase obviouslyurbanization will take place wiping out a lot of agricultural area.

This would greatly affect the food system of the world. Special attention should be laid on it. At present many third world countries are facing the problem of food regulations and consumption issues and food quality which should be given as foremost importance but least here.Nature has bestowed us with variety of blessings it’s upon us how we consume it. Food as the basic necessity should be an item which should be in reach of all citizens. It should be organized in such a manner by our government that it is with in reach of all rich and poor. Being Muslims we are the pioneers of equality same should prevail here as we have seen poor children and people scanning the dust bins and garbage for the bits of food. It’s a pity that we have five our more food items on our dinning table and yet we are not happy. We should refrain from wasting food. It should be consumed as per requirement. Islamic perspective of diet is the most simple and healthy as it said in QURAN-E-PAK "O you people! Eat of what is on earth lawful and good!" (2:168) "So eat of (meats), on which Allah's name hath been pronounced if yehave faith in his signs." (6:118) If we obey it we’ll lead a simple, energetic and healthy life. Allah has bestowed us with his blessings in unlimited pattern and but keeping the fact in mind we are answerable for our doings. So we should refrain ourselves from wasting food. We have seen in the functions even in the formal dinings the food of all variety is wasted. If we give ourselves a moment and think they are so many people hungry out there with literally no food. Eat only the food in the required quantity seeing food in a lot of variety makes us greedy and we eat more than our hunger. This again causes problems so we should only “eat to live” not “live to eat”.

THE FALL OF THE MUSLIM EMPIRE

Muslims of the world have been falling apart .We have always been thinking for the reasons for ages as we have been the pioneers of all the glories of the world including all the spheres of knowledge. Civilization rise and decay and Empire rise and fall, but the only setback is carried on the generations which fall apart due to these all circumstances. Off springs of the new generation suffer due to this as they have to go through all the wrong doings of their elders. The heritage and the cultural aspects in them lacks through it. The whole problem is with the new generation which suffers as they don’t have anything to secure their future with. The cultural heritage and the strong background of a nation bring forwards goodwill for their youth at least they have something to flourish with in future.

We Muslims have been one of the strongest nations of the world yet we can still be if we just peep in to our splendid past and see what we were then, and have critical analysis where we stand now. We had colorful culture and heritage. We were respected for our duty binding personalities, sincerity, truthfulness, honesty, dedication and hard work for our each obligation. We were the pioneers of the knowledge leading from science to arts and humanities. Muslims laid the foundations what we call the educational system nowadays. We formulated Law system based on Islamic values. Our heritage treasures the golden rules through which we can live glorious and contended life.

We have fallen apart because we have forgotten what we were. We have lost our place as a reputed nation all over the world and got the label of terrorists of fundamentalists. We get these false labels because we portraying ourselves in such a manner that people of the world are bound to call us as such. We are living the way we are but a greater setback will be for our new generations they’ll suffer because their foundation is not strong.

We being Muslims should change ourselves because it’s never too late. We still have something which many nations don’t have. We have the strength to breakthrough if we just believe in ourselves. We are bestowed by Allah Pak with the Quran Pak and Sunnah of HARZRAT MUHAMMAD (P.B.U.H) if we follow it whole heartedly we’ll never astray.

We should wake up from inside try to change ourselves and make our personalities less controversial. Changes rise and fall are part and the development of nation but people grow positive attitude through this. They put an effort and make their nation stronger then ever. It’s a message for the Muslims please make yourself united and strong as we have the capability to win this world. We have the capability to lead the world if we not stop under estimating ourselves. Let’s prove the world that we are still the same and we can do it.

THE MYSTERY BERMUDA TRIANGLE

According to the Triangle authors, Christopher Columbus was the first person to document something strange in the Triangle, reporting that he and his crew observed "strange dancing lights on the horizon", flames in the sky, and at another point he wrote in his log about bizarre compass bearings in the area. From his log book, dated October 11, 1492 he wrote:

The land was first seen by a sailor (Rodrigo de Triana), although the Admiral at ten not affirms it to be land; calling to Peru Gutierrez, groom of the King's. The o'clock that evening standing on the quarter-deck saw a light, but so small a body that he could Admiral again perceived it once or twice, appearing like the light of a wax candle moving up and down, which some thought an indication of land. But the wardrobe, he told him he saw a light, and bid him look that way, which he did and saw it; he did the same to Rodrigo Sanchez of Segovia, whom the King and Queen had sent with the squadron as comptroller, but he was unable to see it from his situation Admiral held it for certain that land was near...

Modern scholars checking the original log books have surmised that the lights he saw were the cooking fires of Taino natives in their canoes or on the beach; the compass problems were the result of a false reading based on the movement of a star.

The first article of any kind in which the legend of the Triangle began appeared in newspapers by E.V.W. Jones on September 16, 1950, through the Associated Press.

Two years later, Fate magazine published "Sea Mystery at Our Back Door", a short article by George X. Sand in the October 1952 issue covering the loss of several planes and ships, including the loss of Flight 19, a group of five U.S. Navy TBM Avenger bombers on a training mission. Sand's article was the first to lay out the now-familiar triangular area where the losses took place. Flight 19 alone would be covered in the April 1962 issue of American Legion Magazine.

The article was titled "The Lost Patrol", by Allen W. Eckert, and in his story it was claimed that the flight leader had been heard saying "We are entering white water, nothing seems right. We don't know where we are, the water is green, no white." It was also claimed that officials at the Navy board of inquiry stated that the planes "flew off to Mars." "The Lost Patrol" was the first to connect the supernatural to Flight 19, but it would take another author, Vincent Gaddis, writing in the February 1964 Argosy Magazine to take Flight 19 together with other mysterious disappearances and place it under the umbrella of a new catchy name: "The Deadly Bermuda Triangle"; he would build on that article with a more detailed book, Invisible Horizons, the next year. Others would follow with their own works: John Wallace Spencer (Limbo of the Lost, 1969); Charles Berlitz (The Bermuda Triangle, 1974); Richard Winer (The Devil's Triangle, 1974), and many others, all keeping to some of the same supernatural elements outlined by Eckert.

The Bermuda Triangle, also known as the Devil's Triangle is a region of the northwestern Atlantic Ocean in which a number of aircraft and surface vessels have disappeared. Some people have claimed that these disappearances fall beyond the boundaries of human error or acts of nature. Some of these disappearances have been attributed to the paranormal, a suspension of the laws of physics, or activity by extraterrestrial beings by popular culture. Though a substantial documentation exists showing numerous incidents to have been inaccurately reported or embellished by later authors, and numerous official agencies have gone on record as stating the number and nature of disappearances to be similar to any other area of ocean, many have remained unexplained despite considerable investigation

The boundaries of the Triangle vary with the author; some stating its shape is akin to a trapezoid covering the Straits of Florida, the Bahamas, and the entire Caribbean island area east to the Azores; others add to it the Gulf of Mexico. The more familiar, triangular boundary in most written works has as its points somewhere on the Atlantic coast of Florida; San Juan, Puerto Rico; and the mid-Atlantic island of Bermuda, with most of the accidents concentrated along the southern boundary around the Bahamas and the Florida Straits.

The area is one of the most heavily-sailed shipping lanes in the world, with ships crossing through it daily for ports in the Americas, Europe, and the Caribbean Islands. Cruise ships are also plentiful, and pleasure craft regularly go back and forth between Florida and the islands. It is also a heavily flown route for commercial and private aircraft heading towards Florida, the Caribbean, and South America from points north.

The Gulf Stream Ocean current flows through the Triangle after leaving the Gulf of Mexico; its current of five to six knots may have played a part in a number of disappearances. Sudden storms can and do appear, and in the summer to late fall hurricanes strike the area. The combination of heavy maritime traffic and tempestuous weather makes it inevitable that vessels could founder in storms and be lost without a trace especially before improved telecommunications, radar, and satellite technology arrived late in the 20th century.

After the lapse of nearly half century people are unaware of the actual power residing in the depth of the ocean and it remains as mystery……………..

The Attitude of Pakistani Citizen should be…

It’s the saddest part of the life that our ancestors have been working hard for the establishment of the nation of which of which we are part of now. The fights of the freedom and a secure home land have been the demand of Muslims for long since its beginning towards the road of the establishment and flourish. It has been facing crisis of all sort through economic infrastructure, industry, and military, cultural, political issues which are not resolved and we still do not know when they’ll come to an end.

As a citizen of Pakistan despite all what is going on in our country we have some binding duties and the obligations towards our homeland our motherland in which we still have all the rights to breathe here without a doubt. Free human being who has his views, way of thinking, temperament, a mind that can be used somewhere productive. Only our positive attitudes can bring the tremendous change in our lives as the citizen of Pakistan because the current situation of our country is full of utter negativity and harshness as we have no define rules against anything. Positive attitude is very important as it will make our life easier. In life, not everything goes as smoothly as we want it to be. There will be times when we will face problems and obstacles. The most challenging part is not when our life goes smoothly but how we react when we experience problems and difficulties.

Those who have positive attitude will treat any problem as a challenge. Instead of being discourage, they will treat each failure as a lesson learn and they will be motivated to achieve the goal. As for those who do not the positive attitude, they will see problems and difficulties in an entirely different mind frame.

Every day life is not normal anymore we have electricity issues, water, now a new entry of gas issue is at our steps. We are really in crisis from every inch. In such a deplorable situation every citizen has to take a stand at its own position in the sphere of life. We can set examples as the nations before has us after shattering and yet open new horizons for them. We should not forget that we are Muslims who were the pioneers of social, cultural, ethical and moral values. It’s us who show the world the road to knowledge and prosperity. We should have enough confidence in ourselves as we have dignity and the power of Islam which makes us different from the rest of the world.

If we change our attitudes and focus that only changes ourselves at a personal and collective level will bring a lot of betterment for us. Nations have been facing problems but they learn to uproot them through their educational skills. We have a lot more then what other nation might have .One of it is our strength of Islam that has laid us the roads of prosperity it’s on us now how we change our prospective of thinking and find out what is good for us.

We should never forget we have heaven on earth in the shape of our homeland our splendid motherland. We are with the grace of Almighty bestowed every single blessing that we wish. It’s a humble plead don’t waste it and don’t let go. It’s the high time we leave self indulgement and think about our future. A future within this country nothing beyond it. Please broaden the way think about the issues and try to resolve them rather then making mocking expressions against it. No matter where we go and do our identity will be Pakistani and we should be proud of it as always.

THE GOOD NEWS IS NO NEWS

This line or a new phrase which is yet not part of the dictionary or has any grammar verification but hold its importance in the daily life .It might not hold that importance for the people who are self conceited and full of themselves but all this sort is though for me. I think it’s a very good statement as for as we are considering the scenarios prevailing all around us. Some are important some might not be as important but the improvised in a manner that the become the hot topic of daily life. This topic of the news will be discussed among all now it’s done in the people of all age, old women and men, working men and wome, people at the home people outside. Rather then using their mind in something productive or related to the respective field time and mind both are wasted. It’s a poor ritual of in Pakistan that whether we know about the particular news or the situation we really like others to be enlightened with with our point of view and fight over it until the other losses the debate. The news ranging from the politics, science fiction, business, sports, entertainment and most importantly terrorism that does not bring any happiness or of the prosperity for any single being. It brings anger, frustration, and disappointment not more or less for all.

Media in particular also plays the major or more effectively the key role in grabbing the attention of our nation. This could the headline of panda ill in China or the raw meat eaten in some part of the world. Stunts are created in such a manner that attentions are diverted automatically. It’s not a mistaken issue that the media has been terrorizing the people world wide.

The current issue of Pakistan if not mistaken is terrorism. The daily news since decade is full of this. Our country have been facing crisis one after another. How long are people going to sustain it? People relating with all spheres of the life are dying as if they are worthless. Then we have news of soldiers being killed at our borders in mission of RAHE RASAT or RAHE NIJAT both at the same time it tells us how many people have been killed. Its all for good cause but still lives of the people are as precious.

The same goes for our political scenario it’s so much full of crisis or jumbled up. It’s more like war scene the way our politation oppose each other at every single move .This all with single word spoken and the action taken becomes a headline. It’s a pity for the people who have it on their television screens as every second passes.

Every one is harping his or her tune never the less care what other is saying or demanding. The issue of flour (Atta) has yet not resolved properly by government now we have sugar crisis as our headline

On the other hand have the natural disasters struck in the form of hurricanes, floods, natural fires and the disastrous earthquakes. Its brings definite sorrow in our lives.

As being the citizen of Pakistan and the most importantly representative of an Islamic state it’s our foremost duty to live and let the humanity live. The phrase here takes the well position as it means it would be a brightest day of our lives when we rather having all sort of the troubling news “IT WOULD BE GOOD NEWS THAT WE HAVE NO NEWS!!!!!!!!!!!”

Why do good things in life always have to end so fast? They come surprising you, then in the blink of an eye, leaves just like that. All is left are memories you can't buy anywhere else. Sometimes sweet, sometimes bitter. But whatever the experiences you have gained, they were all there to serve a definite purpose.
The present does not linger. That's why we must always cherish it. Live it. Enjoy it to the fullest. Make full use of it to guarantee a better tomorrow. One of my mottos in life is not to take things for granted. Even the smallest detail or event that happened to you might not seem important now, but you would be surprised at how much it will impact your future, be it near or distant. And those tiniest detail might just turn out to be your most magical moment in life.
Just like your favourite TV show which had just ended, you wish that happier things in life will always continue on. But if that happens, there would be nothing special about life anymore. Everyday will be the same, boring routine. Where's the fun in it?
These moments that you treasure at heart will fade away in time, but will always abide in our hearts forever. That's why I want to make the most of every opportunity. Who cares if I fail to fulfill my target? Like they say, it's wiser to try and risk a 50/50 percent chance of winning, than to not trying at all. One thing's for sure, every effort that you put in will surely bear its fruits, sooner or later.
The year 2009 is also ending, giving way to year 2010. A brand new start, a brand new chance. Who knows of all the possibilities that could happen to us...? =P

Islam expect every Muslim to do this duty, and if we realize our responsibility time will come soon when we shall justify ourselves worthy of a glorious past.
My message to you all is of hope, courage and confidence. Let us mobilize all our resources in a systematic and organized way and tackle the grave issues that confront us with grim determination and discipline worthy of a great nation.
No nation can rise to the height of glory unless your women are side by side with you. No struggle can ever succeed without women participating side by side with men.
Our object should be peace within, and peace without. We want to live peacefully and maintain cordial friendly relations with our immediate neighbours and with the world at large.
Pakistan not only means freedom and independence but the Muslim Ideology which has to be preserved, which has come to us as a precious gift and treasure and which, we hope other will share with us.
That freedom can never be attained by a nation without suffering and sacrifice has been amply borne out by the recent tragic happenings in this subcontinent.
There are two powers in the world; one is the sword and the other is the pen. There is a great competition and rivalry between the two. There is a third power stronger than both, that of the women.
Think 100 times before you take a decision, But once that decision is taken, stand by it as one man.
We are victims of evil customs. It is a crime against humanity that our women are shut up within the four walls of the houses as prisoners. There is no sanction anywhere for the deplorable condition in which our women have to live. We should have a State in which we could live and breathe as free men and which we could develop according to our own lights and culture and where principles of Islamic social justice could find free play.
With faith, discipline and selfless devotion to duty, there is nothing worthwhile that you cannot achieve. You have to stand guard over the development and maintenance of Islamic democracy, Islamic social justice and the equality of manhood in your own native soil.
We must work our destiny in our own way and present to the world an economic system based on true Islamic concept of equality of manhood and social justice. We will thereby be fulfilling our mission as Muslims and giving to humanity the message of peace which alone can save it and secure the welfare, happiness and prosperity of mankind.
Pakistan is proud of our youth, particularly the students, who are nation builders of tomorrow. They must fully equip themselves by discipline, education, and training for the arduous task lying ahead of them.
I shall always be guided by the principles of justice and fairplay without any, as is put in the political language, prejudice or ill-will, in other words, partiality or favouritism. My guiding principle will be justice and complete impartiality, and I am sure that with your support and co-operation, I can look forward to Pakistan becoming one of the greatest nations of the world.

Month of Ramadan Kareem.

Ramadan Kareem is the ninth month of the Islamic lunar calendar. Every day during this month, Muslims around the world spend the daylight hours in a complete fast.

During the blessed month of Ramadan, Muslims all over the world abstain from food, drink, and other physical needs during the daylight hours. As a time to purify the soul, refocus attention on God, and practice self-sacrifice, Ramadan is much more than just not eating and drinking. Muslims are called upon to use this month to re-evaluate their lives in light of Islamic guidance. We are to make peace with those who have wronged us, strengthen ties with family and friends, do away with bad habits -- essentially to clean up our lives, our thoughts, and our feelings. The Arabic word for "fasting" (sawm) literally means "to refrain" - and it means not only refraining from food and drink, but from evil actions, thoughts, and words. During Ramadan, every part of the body must be restrained. The tongue must be restrained from backbiting and gossip. The eyes must restrain themselves from looking at unlawful things. The hand must not touch or take anything that does not belong to it. The ears must refrain from listening to idle talk or obscene words. The feet must refrain from going to sinful places. In such a way, every part of the body observes the fast.

Therefore, fasting is not merely physical, but is rather the total commitment of the person's body and soul to the spirit of the fast. Ramadan is a time to practice self-restraint; a time to cleanse the body and soul from impurities and re-focus one's self on the worship of God.

1. Write Down What You Want Your Future To Look Like
Create a picture of where you see yourself in the future. Your picture can be one of where you want to be in a day, a week, a month, a year, or even farther into the future. This picture gives your journey a clear and reachable destination and provides focus.
Close your eyes. Let your imagination take over. Get in touch with what you really want and what is important to you. Ask yourself what you want and get your answers down on paper. Keep this description with you and look at it every day. Great things tend to happen to those who know where they are going.

2. Have A Plan

Once you have your answers, you can begin to put them into a formal structure.
Having a plan is vital to your success. With a plan, a fulfilling career will be far easier to achieve. Without a plan, you will be working far harder than you have to.
The trick is to be clear about the steps that are necessary to ensure your success. The more specific you can be in describing your steps, the better. Figuring out in detail what steps you will take-and when you will take them-is the foundation of your plan.
Another reason to create a plan is that it will prevent your goals from becoming overwhelming. The temptation to feel overwhelmed is normal. You are, after all, about to jumpstart your career. The structure of your plan will give you comfort and help you get moving again.

3. Take Action

Action is essential to your success. And, one of the best ways to keep your momentum going is having the steps you created in your plan written into your calendar.
Use your calendar as your friend to help guide you and keep you on track. Having a calendar will help determine whether you reach your goal or not. If your steps are written into your calendar, there is a higher probability that you can quickly check them off your list, because what you need to do is in front of you. If your steps are not in your calendar, they probably will not get done, because you may forget what you need to do.
Your calendar is your friend. Begin your friendship by opening your calendar and entering the steps from your plan into it. Commit to doing at least one thing every day, whether you feel like it or not. One action per day leads to a substantial number of actions taken over time. This is how you will be successful.

4. Tell Yourself That Greatness Is Waiting For You

The workplace, from time to time, can take a toll on your self-esteem. For example, if you are working in an environment that is filled with negativity, it will be harder for you to be positive. If your boss tells you daily that your work is no good, it will be harder for you to believe in your abilities. If you have been out of work for some time, it will be harder for you to trust that you have something worthwhile to contribute to the workplace, or more difficult to think why someone would hire you.
How you view yourself is how the world views you, too. If you are confident, the world sees a confident individual. If you don't feel good about yourself (for whatever reason), the world sees a person they don't have to pay much attention to.

Lahore Management Summit 2009 TiECON

On 20th of June here in Lahore @ PC Hotel in Crestal Hall i was invited for Lahore Management Summit 2009 hosted by NUTSHELL FORUM & TiE Lahore.

Woh it was excellent, it was a very good experiece i am very much sure people who were there to attend this summit they really enjoyed a lot. All speakers & their topics was really good, theme of the summit was "Managing in Turbulent Time - The Way Forward"

The Summit started at 09:45am with Recitation of Holly Quran & then National Anthem, welcome address given by Mr. Azfar Ahsan the CEO of both Nutshell & Asian Leadership Society, then Mr. Ted Marra the Chief Strategy Officer of Sybrid shared very informative information with us his topic was "Recession, Servival & an Opportunity" after then Mr. Parvez A. Shahid the Co-Chairam of Bnak Alfalah Ltd & Director of Warid & Wateen Telecom came on the stage & he start boouring most of the attenders , he was totally out of his topic "Managing in Turbulent Time -The way Forward" infect its was the whole summit theme, but any how....

Then Mr. Monis Rahman came for vote of thanks, he his President of TiE & CEO of Rozee.pk, after then we enjoyed wonderful Tea Break with cakes & sandwich.... :)

The Second Session was all about the panel discussion their topic was "The Leadership Challenge - Sustaining Growth, Expanding the Boundaries" the name of the panellists who took a part in this discussion : Mr. Sohail Wajahat (M.D Siemens Pakistan Engineering, Pakistan), Mr. Khuram Rahat (M.D Teradata Pakistan), Mr. Kamal Ahmed (Country Manager Microsoft, Pakistan), Mr. Amir jahangir (CEO SAMAA TV), Mr. Humayun Bashir (Country G.M IBM Pakistan), Mr. Saad Waraich (Country Director Nokia Siemens Network Pakistan) the Moderator of this discussion was Mr.Leon Menezes (Director General Manager HR Pakistan, Midle East, Central Asia & Srilanka, Shell).

After the discussion two presentation was presented one by Mr. Haroon Bhatti (Director people Excellence & BPI, Telenor Pakistan) his topic was "Why Changes is bad " and after this presentation Mr. Basharat Cheema came on board, i think i don’t need to tell the name of his origination because from last couple of years each & every Pakistani is very much familiar from name & his origination, yes you all right he is PEPCO, he came to tell us which we all knows & listing from his & difference ministers mouths....any how his topic was "Efficient Engery Use in Turbulent Times"... and this was the end of 2nd session....And we did delicacies Lunch.

3rd Session start was really very good & i sure it was a new experience for most of the attender, Mr Fredrik Nillson (M.D Oriflame Pakistan) came on stage & he ask all of the attenders for clapping actually he was waking all of us after the Lunch, he give us presentation on "Harnessing Sustainable Growth in Emerging Markets" . After this Ms.Sheeza Mohsin Dhanani (CEO Complete Solutions & leadership Strategist. USA) came & give good presentation, she involved all of the attenders by asking questions & Answers, her topic was "Managing Talent & Oranizational Conflict During a Downturn" . Then Dr. Khalid Javed Chowdhry (Member Board of trustee, TiE Global Inc) gave the wonderful speech, its was really very impressive, his topic was "Entrepreneurship Opportunities in the downturn" .

Last Presentation was the best from all of the day which i liked very much it was by Mr. Badar Khushnood (Country Consultant, Google Inc, Pakistan) his topic was "Marketing in Challenging Times" he told us, infect he proved how companies can save their marketing cost by doing E-marketing of their products on the internet.

Last address was given by the chief Guest Mr. Sartaj Aziz (V.C Beaconhouse University & Ex- Federal Minister of Finance & Foreign Affairs).
